September 9, App doesn't work properly I bought this system because of the idea that I could see what was going on at my house through my phone. This app hasn't worked properly since I first installed it. The " connection" to the system always fails. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I've restarted the app, and it's doesn't work!
If I've would have known about this issue I would have never purchased this camera system. Very, very disappointed and disgusted with Samsung about this issue. What's the problem???
I spend my money for a camera system and this app goes with it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app many times. It won't save my device for viewing later. Then I scan device again and it says device So my first scan is in app but doesn't show it. Y'all need to fix this issue.Network Setup on the DVR
To clear this up, yes I scan device, sign in, save and can view my camera's, then later it disappears September 8, Just aweful. App was great before update. Now my security system lacks what i liked most, a reliable camera system. September 7, Used to work then it started opening and having to close and open again to show me my cameras and now it just wont connect at all after update! No play back Play back freezes, or just won't work at all.
Our price is lower than the manufacturer's "minimum advertised price. You have no obligation to purchase the product once you know the price. You can simply remove the item from your cart. The Wisenet Device Manager is a custom program that helps the user to manage multiple IP network devices. This program discovers the Hanwha cameras on the network and easily allows the user to modify their IP addresses.
It's connected to my homes network so I can view it while I'm away. Checked it from my iphone when I went out to the store and everything it working good. I'm now 5 states away on business and my phone fails to connect. I have a good signal where I'm at currently 3 bars on LTE. Using the p2p ID. It worked like this while I was at home and around my town. But I'm in St Louis now and it's saying cannot connect to device. Make sure that your phone has internet access when you use the app.
Whenever possible, connect the phone to a wifi before trying to view the cameras on the app. Lastly, perhaps someone on your behalf at the DVR location can check and make sure that the both the router and DVR are working properly.
I really don't understand, it was working for 3 weeks like a champ. And as soon as I leave it won't connect. You got me, too. You might want to to contact Samsung support. They should be able to remotely check it out for you. I found this info for them on the web:.
Ok mystery is solved. I basically had to uninstall the app and enter in the p2p id.Vanmoof smart bike
And now it's working. Must have been a glitch or something. You need to be a member in order to leave a comment. Sign up for a new account in our community. It's easy! Already have an account? Wisenet mobile app setup
Messages 10 Points 1. The Wisenet mobile app can be downloaded on both iOS and Android devices and you can find more information on the application on our website. This guide is based on the process followed on an iPhone but I would assume the process would be similar on an Android device. Once installed on your device open up the app and a screen will appear asking you to allow notifications.
You can change this permission at a later date but if you want push notifications for motion detection, line crossing etc. Last edited: Jun 21, Warren New Member. Messages 6 Points 1.Sun, Nov 30, AM. Ok I am not a networking tech by any means but I know how to follow directions and i have done that till I cant go any more and my stuff still doesnt work so here I am.
Samsung security camera system remote viewing via ipolis
I did some research once I installed it and it didnt work and found a thread somwhere that said the 2wire router I am using doesnot allow uPNP which is neciarry to make my system work right, so here is how I have it set up right now. I ran a network cable from my 2wire modelhgv to a secondary router linksys modelE than a patch cable from the linksys to the DVR. I plugged my laptop into the linksys and logged into the router found the DVR connection and noted its IP adress I then as per the samsung manual suggests opened up my browser, typed that IP in and was directed to the ipolis web veiwer which I was able to log on to and see all 4 cameras in action.
I did log into the 2wire and add an application in the firwall using port settings given to me by the DVR and apllied it to the linksys router on the list and still no go. Thanks for your input. So to answer your question I have a bunch of stuff on my 2wire network all which works fine at the moment. I followed your instructions step by step and as far as I can tell I did everything right, the internet adresses of both routers are the same now I then connected the laptop to the router wirelessly and it works perfect.Fili fissi carpenteria fondazioni carpenteria copertura carpenteria i
The instructions effectively allows the to have a parallel connection to the Internet with the I need to be able to veiw the cameras while im away. If he had enabled UPnP in thewould have everything technically work flawless. Mobile connection using app, laptop viewing via Ipolis webpage?
Error Message: Network Connection Failed
I am having a similar issue and was looking for a workaround such as the one you gave. I am going to try and reset what configuration this guy already set before I looked at it. I'm a little late to these posts but just bought a Samsung 4 camera system and had the same problems with the U-verse router.
I finally went back to plugging in the dvr straigh to the and went to the home screen of the router. I clicked on the "customize firewall" link and clicked the "unknownxxxxxxxx" link for the dvr and hit save, which prompted my password for admin. After saving it I looked at the "details" of the same "unknown" on the Home Network Devices and saw that the ip was now that " Try this cause like the saying goes, if I can do it, so can you I put in 80, just a guess.
The Firefox can't find the server, and the Internet Explorer couldn't make any connection either, Chrome don't support Silverlight exe. Please advise me. They will configure the dvr and router for you so you can view your cameras on the go with your mobile phone without having to be connected with your router on your home network, i hope this helps, regards.
I just found this after doing everything but crying over this 4 ch I bought samsung all-in one. I registed it on ipolis and saw where the carmera icon says on but I can't see a camera on my phone chromebook, or android phone.
I'm not real techi. But I think I did everthig right. Thanks y'all I'm going to call samsung to see if they can hook me up. I'll let you all know. Please let me know if you were able to connect your cameras to the ipolis app. I am the least techie person out there. Thanks for your subscription! How to connect an IP camera to your PC or to the computer monitor? If you've got your security video IP cameras home, and you don't plan for an NVR, you may get problems on how to directly connect an IP camera to PC without routers, without internet, without DVR or without its receiver.
This doesn't mean you are an idiot, but you are just not a technical guy or you just don't have experience in this kind of stuff. You can, with or without the Internet, connect your indoor or outdoor surveillance cameras to PC or to Mac with the top 5 solutions.
Pleased be noted : Install your security cameras in the right positions firstly. And I've covered third party software to connect your IP Camera to a computer in the last part. Important Note : The methods recommended below may NOT apply for the battery-powered security cameraswhich require initial setup on your phones. You may continue reading for more important notes to help you smoothly set all the things up.
Use the power adapter to get the camera plugged-in and charged. Normally, when you buy a WiFi IP camerait comes with a power adapter. For a PoE cameraask the supplier and buy one that's workable for the camera. Normally there would be a 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 cable attached from the camera.
Find the network connector from that cable and use the network cable to connect to it. Then connect the other end of the network cable to the computer. Now the security camera is connecting to your computer basically and physically. But you still can't view the camera on the computer. What you need to do now is to scan and find out the camera's IP address.
There should be surveillance software from the same supplier with the camera. Take our test as an example. We have Reolink Client on the computer. Launch it and it will automatically scan all the cameras in the same local LAN and show the default IP address every camera has a default and unique IP address when it leaves the factory.
